Bobbie Jean Higley was born on July 2, 1933 and went to be with her Lord on

August 23, 2023 at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard and is survived by three children Chuck Higley and wife Jennifer, Kerri Harper and husband Tim, and Jeff Higley and wife Jessica.
She was a faithful pastor’s wife for many years and served the Lord in various church and secular jobs. Grandma Jean had 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, all of whom were her great joy. Her last days and moments were filled with singing her Savior’s praises, imploring her family to continue in the faith and encouraging others to trust in Jesus. She also “laid down the law” that there was to be no sadness at her passing because of the hope she had in Christ and the blessed assurance of her final destination. Grandma Jean left a legacy of faith that will impact generations to come. She will be greatly missed, but we do not grieve as those who have no hope! Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Master!
Services will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, September 1, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Please visit https://www.facebook.com/BoxwellBrothersFuneralDirectors to view the livestream.
Sweet Jean

I know your home with Jesus and your family.
I am honored to have known you
Jessica
I am sorry for the emptiness I know you must feel at this time. I pray the Lord’s peaceful presence fills your hearts and surrounds you with His comfort as you grieve.
I loved your mother. She treated people with dignity and always made me feel so welcomed in her home. She was a very special lady. And, I have to wonder if she will fix monkey bread and chew every bite 63 times when she is at dinner with the Lord.😘
Chuck and family you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. I always enjoyed being around your Mom. What a blessed woman.! I know she is with your Dad in heaven ! I am so sorry I won’t be able to be at her funeral . Take Care ! Love Betty Becannon
We’ll miss this dear lady! She truly lived with the expectation of her Lord’s coming. She often said, “ I just feel it in my bones.” For her, Jesus came very soon. praise God!
You will be missed sweet one. All the things about Jesus you thought me and your friendship will always be with me. I will see you later in Heaven!
Chuck,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that your mom’s confidence in her faith will sustain you and your family. God bless.
