Bobbie Sue McReynolds, 78, of Amarillo, TX passed away on July 17, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Bobbie was born in Pickton, TX on April 11, 1943, to Bessie and Bob Zimmerman. After Bessie passed away, she was raised by Polly Zimmerman.

Bobbie was married to Clark Dahl with whom she had three children. Later she met and married the man who became the love of her life, Bob McReynolds, whom she was married to until his death.

Bobbie owned Blue Front Café twice, along with all Pro Pest Control.

Bobbie loved and was loved by her family and friends. She had a group of loyal girlfriends that she enjoyed going to the Amarillo Little Theater with.

She belonged to Golden Spread Pest Control Association, Texas Pest Control Association, National Pest Control Association, The Apartment Association of the Panhandle, Bon Amis Investment, and an all-women’s Birthday Club. She supported Mary Knoll Missionaries for over 30 years. She also supported Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, Catholic Family Services, Downtown Women’s Center, and Martha’s Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Webb and husband David, of Amarillo, TX; sons, Rob Dahl and wife Judy, of Amarillo, TX, and Mike Dahl, of Amarillo, TX; stepdaughters, Melody Maekawa and husband Kazuo, of La Palma, CA, Angela Ashworth and husband Larry, of Claude, TX, and Robin Moss and husband Dave, of Whitehouse, TX; brothers, Billy Zimmerman and wife Cindy, of Rockdale, TX, Jeff Zimmerman and wife Susie, of Winnsboro, TX, and Tim Zimmerman and wife Tracy, of Ponder, TX; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

  1. It saddens me that she is gone. I would call from time to time to check on her and whoever was there would tell me she was sleeping. It had been awhile since I called.

    I remember when I first met her and husband Bob. What a fun couple and always so nice to me. I met the children from both sides and they too were always so kind.

    So sorry for your loss. May God give His grace to carry you through this difficult time.

  3. Bobbie was a part of so many childhood memories when we’d visit Amarillo. Memories I’ve held close to my heart all these years, and will continue to hold onto forever! ❤️

  4. Miss Bobbie was a very sweet lady. She always made you feel welcome when I came to visit along with Thelma, Louise and Tiger. She always wanted to make sure and offer something to eat! Love her forever!

  5. I was a young teenager when I first met Bobbie – and I admired her for years as a wise, worldly, “older” woman. Fast forward 50 years, and I loved Bobbie as a friend and contemporary, someone I delighted in visiting every time I was in Amarillo. We shared stories, experiences, confidences. She will be missed by many, deeply. I am holding the entire family up in prayer.

  6. Sweet sweet lady. She will be missed by very many. She always called my daughter “Baby Katie”. AND she owned a bingo hall!
