I have been so touched by these many kind and beautiful messages from so many names I recognize. I taught with Bonnie in Pampa at Robert E Lee , and I counted her as my friend. She was all the things her former students said about her ; what a tribute to a remarkable teacher and person. Oh that there were more like her! I have thought of her so often and am so sorry we lost touch. Please accept my sincere sympathy. May you know the peace that only God can give, Johnnie Thompson

  5. Miss Grantham was one of my most favorite teachers! She helped a new student to Pampa become more comfortable by her calm demeanor. That doesn’t mean she didn’t expect you to work hard and follow rules. I was tardy often to PE or volleyball and she called me on it! I got swats the next day for my “socializing”. I saw her several times around town after graduating and moving from Pampa. That was special for me! Sending my most sincere condolences to her partner and family ❣️
