Brenda Sue Godbey, 66, of Adrian, Texas passed away on December 2, 2023.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Adrian Methodist Church with Ruben Coronado officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Brenda was born in Freeport, Texas on October 23, 1957, to Betty Joyce (Miller) and Marvin Neal Frazier. She married Jeffrey Godbey in Amarillo, Texas at The Wedding Chapel on June 1, 1996.

Brenda was a very faithful woman. She loved her children and her grandchildren. She always put others first and was quick to help anyone in need. Brenda liked to cook and watch cooking shows. She was a hard worker and was incredibly stubborn. Brenda always found a way to get what she wanted and that was shown to be true up until her last moments.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Randall Harris, and Neil Frazier.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey “ Jeff” Godbey; sons, Ed Garrison (Krysta), Wilbur Garrison (Jessica), Scott Garrison (Mkaila), and Jeffrey “JJ” Godbey; grandchildren, Shelby Garrison, Isaiah Rumrill, Harley Garrison, Jacob Chock Garrison, Jait Garrison, Leelynn Arron, Kaylen Lowther, Ezekiel Sanchez, and Trent Flores; uncles, Tedo Harris, and Joe Harris (Lola); aunts, Mildred Petty (R. Lee), and Donna Larkan (Orville); siblings, Ersel Harris (Maria), Richard Harris (Julie), Debbie Kinsey (Montie), Cynthia Girty (Mike), Kelly Harris (Tina), Eddie Peterson (Kay), and Charles Peterson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donations may be made to your favorite charity in Brenda’s name, or send flowers for the memorial service to Adrian Methodist Church for the service.
