Brian Duane Hammer, 47, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 26, 2021.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 31, 2021, at Oasis (Southwest Baptist Church), with Shaie Williams officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Brian was born in Dumas, TX on January 29, 1974, to Brenda and Ronald Hammer.

Brian was a great father, husband, son, and brother. He found joy in his family, building things, teaching his boy’s life skills, being a coach, and riding the ATVs with his kids. He was a hard worker, a man of integrity, and a role model for others. He loved the Lord and was a Christian man. Everything Brian did was for his family; they were always put first.

Brian loved to have a good time with his family and many friends and especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. His free time was spent investing in his kids.  There was nothing Brian couldn’t do and everything  he did was done wholeheartedly.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jordan Hammer; and grandmothers, Bernice Wickware, and Betty McCaskill.

Survivors include his wife, Jamille Hammer; sons, Jarett Hammer, Jake Hammer, and Jaxton Hammer; dad, Ronald Hammer; mom, Brenda Hammer; sister, Michelle Brooks; sister-in-law, Jennifer St. Jacques; brother-in-law, Tommy Brooks; mother-in-law, Judy Copeland; father-in-law, Bob Copeland; Niece, Alexis Brooks; nephew, Ashton Hammer; and great-niece, Rylee Chapman.

  2. My heart is broken. Literally one of THE KINDEST SOULS I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. THE MOST GENUINE man of integrity. Thank You Brian for adding Joy to many lives while you were here. While I know Heaven is rejoicing to have you there, you will surely be missed here.
