  1. You will be greatly missed Papa, and I will forever hold you in a special place in my heart. Your love and kindness will always resonate deeply within everyone who knew you. Please give my grandmother and dad a big ole Texas size hug for me and until we meet again.
I love you and miss you terribly,
    Your grandson Brandon

  2. I will miss you Papa. He was such a strong spiritual leader for all of his grandchildren and I feel our lives have been blessed and/or protected because of his prayers over us. I will always remember how funny you thought I was as a child and loved hearing the stories about it. ♥️♥️

  3. God bless the man who married me, because he has to live up to the standards that my dear sweet Papa had shown me how to treat his wife and family. There was not a sweeter, selfless man then my grandpa Carl Dixon. He loved the Lord 1st, my mama, then the rest of us with his whole being. I will never regret any time spent with him, and I will miss him dearly. Go get your sweet wife Papa, and hug Jesus for me too.

  4. I sure am going to miss my sweet Papa!
His pranks, his sense of humor, always quick to laugh and laugh deeply from his belly! He loved his wife, his family and he loved God, always having a bible next to his bed. He put others needs above his and never complained! He was a hard working man his whole life, even as a young man working in the cotton fields. He was so strong and brave as he battled cancer in 2015.
    He was my super hero!
I’ll love you forever, my Papa!!

    Love,
    Ponda
