Carole Lee Hulen, 78,, of Amarillo, TX passed away on March 18th, 2023
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1512 Parker, Amarillo, 79102 on April 21st from 4pm – 7pm. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd
Carole was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 26th, 1944 to Doc and Albina York. Carole was a devoted mom to two strong, independent daughters, Cindy and Christy. After graduating from the Amarillo College Nursing School in the late 1970’s, Carole was a nurse at St. Anthony’s Hospital before becoming a beloved hospice nurse at St. Anthony’s/BSA for almost 30 years until her retirement in 2012. She also loved going to Las Vegas and listening to the Rolling Stones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Casebolt.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Cindy O’Neal; grandchildren Chelsea (Ayden) Hulen, Alexx Casebolt, Gabe O’Neal; and many granddogs and grandcats.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Olivia’s Angels of the Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation.
