
Carolyn Jan Holland, 66, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 18, 2021.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 20, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
She was born on November 24, 1955 at Sheppard Air Force in Wichita Falls, TX to Oliver and Jean Callender. She married the love of her life Phillip Keith Holland on June 21, 1974 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Carolyn attended Caprock High School, she graduated in 1974. She then went to earn an associate degree with a CNA. She worked at BSA for 10 plus years in the Oncology Department and did Home Health Care as a CNA.Â
She loved her family, family was her top priority. Carolyn loved her husband and children will all her heart. She also lived to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved to sew clothes for them. Carolyn really enjoyed taking cruises with her family and friends.Â
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Phillip Holland of Amarillo; son, Brian Holland of Amarillo; son, Bradley Holland of Amarillo; daughter, Jennifer Sanchez and husband Antonio Sanchez of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren, Ashley Bagwell, Cristin Giles, Brian (Bubba) Holland, Tanner Holland, Addison Holland, Tony Sanchez, Merri Sanchez, and Noah Sanchez; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 3 sisters and 1 brother, Emily Duncan and Mike of Mountain Home, AR, Dorothy Wedel and Don from Oklahoma City, OK, Becky Matthews and David of Amarillo, TX, and Alex Callender and Sue of Amarillo, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Jean Callender; a brother, Allen Callender; and grandmother, Emily Marie Baltzer.

I am so sorry for your loss. I very much loved Carolyn and I treasure the memories I have of her.
So sorry to hear about this sweet lady’s passing. I babysat her kids and grew up going in and out of their house. She will be missed by her family and friends.
