Charles Alan Maas, passed from this life to his eternal life, on September 8, 2022. He was born in Dalhart, Texas on July 30, 1953, to Charles and Juanita Maas

He is survived by his wife, Dara; son, Dereck and wife Kele Maas; two daughters, Dena Rodgers, and Lecretia and husband Jerry McCroskey; stepson, Michael Maas; grandchildren, Taylor, Colby, Dallas, Jordyn, Sydnee, Synda, and Quyntyn; and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Skipp and David Maas; as well as several nieces and nephews; 3 very special adopted sons, Tony Nunes, Dorian Bradshaw, and James Rivers, and 1 adopted grandson Josh Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Alan Maas Jr.; and his mother and father.

Charles served his country proudly, from 1975 to 1988, then drove a truck OTR for over 30 years. He was also known in the trucking world as “snake eyes” to many dear friends.

Charles was his family’s “Rock” + was + always will be “our hero”.

He will be forever missed but we know he is pain-free for the first time in so long, and he is also in the sweet arms of Jesus.

Fly high with the Angels our hero. Rest in peace.

Celebration of life will be held, September 24, 2022, between 5 and 7 P.M. at 7001 Joy Ave Canyon, Texas. All are welcome to attend.
