Charles Davis Brazile, 85, of Siloam Springs, AR died Friday, January 29, 2021, in Fayetteville, AR.

A funeral service will be held in Amarillo, TX on Monday, Feb 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Charles was born March 10, 1935 in Nashville, AR to Jeff and Myrtle (Wooten) Brazile.  He married Bobbie Covington on June 15, 1955 in Amarillo, TX.

He retired from Celanese Chemical in Pampa, TX in 1993 after a 28-year career.  He loved his company and his co-workers.  Soon after retiring, Charles and Bobbie moved to Amarillo, TX.  After spending over 15 years in Amarillo, they move to Siloam Springs, AR to be closer to family.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Myrtle Brazile and his step mother, Opal Joe Brazile; brothers Clarence, Thomas and Melvin; and sister Sandra Seay.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie; two sons, Ricky (wife Sheryl) and Jerry (wife Rebecca); five grandchildren, Colby (wife Lisa), Jenny Loyd (husband Jesse), Brittany Lundberg (husband Brant), Cooper (wife Jessica) and Ryan; plus eight great-grandchildren.  Charles is also survived by three brothers, Tommy Joe Robbins, Jimmy and Terry; two sisters, Sheila Junell and Sue Miller; many nephews and nieces; and his beloved Maltese, Abby Gail.

Charles, a hard-working man of integrity and character, was devoted to his family and friends.   He will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to: Liberty Baptist Church, 620 W. Quarter Rd., Siloam Springs, AR  72761-1061.

  1. So sorry to here of his passing. Meet Charles when we bought the barn in pampa here around 2003. We had good visits for a few years until I lost my husband in 05 than I gave the barn to my mother which passed feb 5. The barn will go back to me now but I’ll always thank of him when I’m out there and was always thankful he gave me and my husband a chance at making our dreams come true owning a barn and animals

  2. I’m so saddened to hear of Charles’ passing. He was such a nice man. I enjoyed all of the visits and conversations with him and Bobbie when they were in Pampa. My condolences to my old friend Rick and Jerry.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Charles from my childhood and from work. Our family thought very highly of him and of course, Bobbie. Prayers for strength.

  4. Charles was a good neighbor here in Amarillo. Bobbie, I’m sorry and know he will be missed. I couldn’t attend his service this morning but my thoughts are with you.
