Charles Randall Decker
Charles Randall Decker, 77, of Amarillo, TX passed away on November 28, 2022.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Coulter Road Baptist Church. Private burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery in Vega, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Amarillo, Texas.
Randall was born in Snyder, TX on November 22, 1945, to Marie Decker and Robert Decker. He graduated from Sundown High School. He then went on to graduate from West Texas State University.
Randall married Alice Knox on June 18, 1966. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1973.
Randall owned and operated Calico County Restaurant starting from 2003 and retiring in 2017. He was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years, as well as serving as a Gideon.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Walton; and stepfather, Foch Walton
Survivors include his wife, Alice Decker, of Amarillo, TX; his son, David Decker, of Amarillo, TX; his daughter, Marci Sherwood and her husband Todd, of Highlands, NC; his three grandchildren, Claire, Charlie and Jack, all of Highlands, NC; his brother, Dennis Decker and his wife Mona, of Oklahoma City, OK; and his stepbrother, Raymond Walton and wife Janice, of Stanton, TX.
