Christine Sue Tucker, of Amarillo, TX passed away July 23, 2022, at the age of 52.

She was born in Borger, TX to Toby and Carol Tucker. Christi graduated from Amarillo High School in 1987 where she ran track. At Fannin Junior High she was a cheerleader and participated in Industrial Arts where she won several awards for woodworking. She attended Amarillo College for two years as well as Texas A&M University as a nutrition major.

Christi loved attending concerts, and baseball games, cheering on the Aggies & floating the Guadalupe River with friends and family. She volunteered with Make A Wish for Homer’s Backyard Ball with the Polly’s. Christi loved celebrating all holidays, especially Christmas, and would make sausage bread for loved ones. Her favorite thing was loving on her dogs.

Christi was preceded in death by her parents, Toby and Carol Tucker; grandparents, John and Roberta Tucker; and grandparents, Ray and Dormilee Crockett.

She is survived by her brother, Marc Tucker, and sister-in-law Sarah Tucker; aunt, Kay Reagh; uncle, Mike Webb; aunt, Avondle Crockett; uncle, John Tucker and wife Beverly; uncle, Richard Tucker and wife Vicki; numerous cousins; and a lifetime of friends. She is also survived by her dog, Slider.

There will be a celebration of life party held at the Golden Light on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. for all those who loved her and wish to revere her.

  1. So I waited until today…Christis first heavenly birthday to say how special and sweet she always was to me. I miss her and I know I’ll miss receiving those birthday cards she always sent. I have never known anyone as strong and brave as Christi on top of being beautiful inside and out. She definitely did it her way best she could while family and friends loved her through it. Marc, Sarah, and Kay-may your precious memories be sweet and always bring you peace.

  2. Tucker was a very special lady.. She and I had lost contact over the last several years. But she has a very special place in mine and my oldest childrens lives.. She was loved and very special.. Many many great memories.. She will be missed..

  3. I’ve received birthday and Christmas cards from Christi for the last 35 years or more
    But what always amazed me were the thinking of you cards I received the exact day on the anniversary of Kerry’s death and his birthday
    Not to mention the random texts or personal visits just when I needed them most
    She was a very special friend

  4. Wow. It’s hard to believe she’s gone. But Tucker was loved. She loved too. I was blessed to have her in my life for many years. Tucker was the definition of a loyal friend. She supported our kiddos like they were they were her own. Tucker, you were called home too soon. I will miss you very much. And yes, I can get you into the show!❤️

  5. I became acquainted with Christi through her dad, Toby Tucker, one of the kindest men I have ever known and her mother Carol. Two very dear friends. She was a special friend, and very loved by her parents. I know I will miss her as will her family. Rest In Peace Christi.

  7. I was lucky that I got to call her friend for the last 20 years. She was was so sweet and fun. She would always bring me those delicious treats at Christmas. She’s going to be missed.
