Cynthia was born on January 11, 1952, in Amarillo. She was the epitome of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31. She married her

longtime friend and love Robert Alexander on November 21, 1980. She was a dedicated mother and she treasured and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a Grammy.  She made lifetime friends even with some of her customers at Sam’s Club where she worked for 21 years.

As her song fades her melody will continue in the hearts of her husband Robert Alexander two sons, Cody Halford, of Amarillo, and Shane Alexander and wife Tiffany, of Norfolk, VA; two daughters, Candice Kazmir and husband Bobby, of Caldwell, TX, and Robin Alexander, of Abilene, TX; three brothers, Royce Phillips and wife Judy, Alan Phillips and wife Carol, all of Amarillo, TX, and Barry Phillips, of CO; two sisters, Gay Taylor, of Amarillo, and Vickie Culwell and husband Craig, of Tulia, TX; thirteen grandchildren, Kelsy, Cadyn, Avery, Madison, C.J., Brittney, Tanner, Ryker, Zoey, Zachary, Shelby, Bailey, and Logan; and three great-grandchildren, Easton, Acen, and Kami.

  1. Heartfelt sympathy and the peace of loving memories to you all. I’m so sorry this disease has stricken your family and such a loving soul as Cynthia. I worked with her for many years at Sam’s Club. I was just a kid when I started, and she made it not so scary being my first “real” job that turned into a 13-year career. Every year, we celebrated her anniversary and my birthday, and always joked around about that day in history being the day the world found out “Who shot J.R.?” Ewing on Dallas. Still makes me smile. Thank you, Lord, for giving us Cynthia for a time. She is greatly missed by all who knew her.

  2. My Sincere Condolences to all of Cynthy’s family.
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she Rest In Peace. Amen♥️🌹
