Czyz Kiefer Dills, 30, of Amarillo, TX, entered his Heavenly Home, prepared by Jesus, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing/visitation from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  A private burial is planned for Saturday morning. Celebration services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May, 29, 2021, at Coulter Road Baptist Church, 4108 Coulter, Amarillo.

Czyz was born on June 28, 1990, in Pampa, TX.

Czyz was preceded in death recently by his brother, Reese Dills on March 2, 2021; and by his mother, Beth Queen Dills on July 7, 2003.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nicolette, and daughter, Emma Dills; his maternal grandmother, Lynda Queen, Amarillo; his father, Richard Aaron Dills and wife Courtnie, Pampa; a sister, Bama Dills Bradley and husband Joel, Springfield, MO; grandmother, Sherry Dills, Amarillo; grandfather, Richard L. Dills and wife Jeanna, Lefors; uncle, Bret Queen; aunt, Barbara Britten and husband Charlie, Groom; and cousins, Kara Kidd, Chris Kidd, Kayla Breeding, Hylee Gomez Queen, Ashlee Queen, and Isabell Queen. He is also survived by his in-laws, Seth and Sue Keomoungkhoune, David Keomoungkhoune, and Daniel Kemoungkhoune and wife Chelsea and their children, Elijah and Elise.

Czyz graduated in 2009 from San Jacinto Christian Academy, where he was in worship choir and football. Previously he was in Tascosa Concert Choir and Freedom Singers and participated in football and wrestling. He was also a member of the City Champion football team at Austin Middle School.

He was a member of the Amarillo Boy Choir and Spotlight and travelled to California, New York, and Europe, where they sang with the Vienna Boys’ Choir.  He and his brother and sister also sang for various groups and occasions.

Czyz served several years as a camp counselor at Hidden Falls Ranch. A member of Coulter Road Baptist Church, he was active in local mission ministries and twice was part of a mission team to Brazil.

Before and during a lengthy illness, Czyz worked as a CDL driver for Rugby to help Nicolette complete nursing school.

He was kind and an amazing son/grandson, friend, father, and husband, who will be greatly missed.

  3. Had some fun memories as a youngster with czyz. Very sorry for his family. His spirit soars here with his family and to the infinite love source we all come from.

    Whoever reads this, czyz was my friend for a time and during that time there was some good memories.

  4. I can’t help but replay every memory of seeing you as a kid , playing outside or hanging out at my house irritating my cat. I am intensely sad and can’t believe what is happening. So hard to not have answers. I am so happy I can enjoy memories of you, Reese. And Bama playing in the neighborhood as kids you are and always be precious kids I always enjoyed.

    I am so sorry for your loss of an amazing young man. I will always remember Czyz for his beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and his willingness to be real. I loved having him over to the house for youth parties because he would usually spend part of his time in the kitchen chatting with me. Nicollette, I know you have loved him for a very long time and he will be missed. Sending you and Emma hugs and love. Mrs Lynda and Bama, I love you both dearly.

  13. The world lost an amazing soul far too early. The memories I have growing up with you and your family are something I hold near and dear to my heart and that I will never forget. You had a smile and happiness about you that was infectious. You never let anything get you down. The positivity that you would bring into any atmosphere or situation is something I don’t think I will ever experience ever again. You impacted so many people in so many ways. You will be truly missed my friend. RIP.

  14. Nicolette, my dearest condolences. I cant fathom the pain you and your families are experiencing with such a lengthy terrible illness. Praying for peace and healing as you navigate this new life. Know that he is pain free and flying high with our lord and savior. You are not alone and remember there are so many of us here to help you when you need it. Emma is absolutely beautiful and will always be the best parts of you both. I miss you and I love you!   15. Our deepest condolences on your loss. Czyz helped us with our supplies when we started to remodel our bathroom when he worked at Pride Home Center. He was a very knowledgeable, courteous, kind and helpful young man. I know he will be greatly missed. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
