Darrell Wayne Moyers, 74, of Amarillo, TX escaped this mortal realm on
Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 28, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Darrell was brought into this world on May 16, 1948, by his Momma, Johnnie Kincaid and Daddy, Myrle Moyers. He served in the United States Navy before the world went to hell in a hand basket. Then suffered though the Vietnam War to protect our Country.
He was preceded in death by the majority of the older people in his family. His momma, Johnnie Marie Kincaid, daddy, Myrle Alfred Moyers, younger brother Roger Allen Moyers, Grandparents Sweet little Momma (Fern) and Bud Daddy (Charles) Taylor, and Aunt Baba (Barbara) & Husband Clearance Simpson.
Survivors of Darrell include his sister Marla Denise Menke, brother, Russell Moyers, sister, Zana Renee Meeves, daughter, Sharlet Renee Smith, son, Richard Moyers, and daughter, Barbara D. Jennings. Eight out of this world, Amazing Grandchildren, and two Great Grandchildren.
He loved, he lived and he was one of a kind. Instead of flowers, save your hard-earned money, and either donate it to a Veteran Charity close to your heart or write something nice on a cold beer and drink it for Darrell.
