Davalou Stegall, 76, passed away on April 19, 2022. She was born on January 21, 1946, in Canadian, Texas to David Allen and Ella Lutz. Davalou married Carlos Ray Stegall, Jr. on October 5, 1963, in Plainview, Texas. This year would have marked their 59th Wedding Anniversary. She was a daughter, sister, wife and mom. She was a talented artist, who enjoyed cooking for her family
and traveling. She loved her family, her friends who became family, and her sweet dog, Lucky Girl. Davalou is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, Father; her Mother; and Sister, Martha. Survivors include two daughters, Patty and her husband, Clif, of Amarillo; Tammy and her husband, Victor, of Amarillo, two sons; Allen and his husband, Jim, of Dumas; and John and his wife, Stephanie, of California; brother, Bud Lutz and his wife Glenda; sister in law, Cherie Hunter and her husband, John of Lubbock; and brother in law, Mark Stegall of Amarillo. She had five grandchildren; Matthew, Samantha, Chelsea, and her husband Rain, Adam, and Jett; four great-grandchildren; Zane, Cartwright, Tucker, and Remi, many nieces,
and nephews; as well as her Park Royal friends, all of whom she loved deeply.
Memorial services will be held this Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Park Royal Apartments with Reverend Clyde Goff officiating.
I am saddened to hear of Davalou’s passing and send my heartfelt condolences to her family. (Our mothers were sisters).

I’m so sorry to hear of Davey’s passing. It was probably a year ago when we last spoke. She told me how happy she was with her friends at Park Royal. I know I speak for the other Meier cousins and her Aunt Martha in praying for God’s comfort for you all.
