David Darell Kirby, 73, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Llano Garden Mausoleum with Tony Robinson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
David was born to John and Rodella Kirby on September 29, 1948, in Dumas, TX where he graduated from Dumas High School. He served in the US Army.
David had been a fireman for 30 years and was a Mason.
David married Susan Ivie on May 13, 1983, in Amarillo, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Kirby, of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Jenifer Dennis, and Tifani Townsend and husband Bryce, all of Amarillo, TX; a granddaughter, Krystal Dennis, of Amarillo, TX; a grandson, Corey Dennis, of Amarillo, TX; two great-grandchildren, Bailee Kertis and Mackenzee Townsend; a sister, Pam Jennings, of Dumas, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
