Deborah “Debbie” Denise Fox passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial took place at Llano Cemetery at an earlier date. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Debbie was born Dec 9, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas to Lloyd and Marie Thomas. Debbie’s father was the small and large animal veterinarian in Mineral Wells, TX. Debbie graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Zoology. She also earned a Master’s Degree from Texas Tech University.
Debbie married the love of her life, Glen Fox, on January 3, 1976. They met in freshman history class at Texas Tech University. They adopted their son, Andrew, in 1988. Her first devotion was always to God first and then her family. They were the perfect picture of spousal love and devotion. She was known by family, close friends, and all she encountered as a woman who truly embodied the love and service of Christ.
Debbie was the Food and Nutritional Manager/Dietitian at Northwest Texas Hospital for over 27 years. Her struggles with a long-term gastrointestinal illness that required special nutritional needs, helped her work with her patients tirelessly, kindly, and joyfully. Debbie also gave her time and love to the members and guests of Trinity Baptist Church. She played piano for Sunday morning worship and the choir. She and her husband taught and loved on the youth and senior citizen Sunday schools at the church.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Marie Thomas; an Aunt, Evelyn Jackson; dear friends, Tina Adams and Donna Thompson; and numerous other family members. She is survived by her husband, Glen Alan Fox; her son, Andrew Thomas Fox and wife Alisa of Amarillo; and a grandson, Nicholas Hunter Carducci.
