Dennis Jerome Brown went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 16, 2023.

Visitation will be from 6-7:00 PM, Monday, October 23, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Llano Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Dennis was born in Borger, TX on March 25, 1945, the son of W.G. Brown and Ruby (Lusk) Brown.

Dennis joined the United States Air Force and courageously served his country in Vietnam. Upon his return to the states, he was stationed at several air force bases throughout the U.S. where he was proudly promoted to the rank of Captain. Dennis then went on to earn his Masters Degree in Nursing and again was proudly promoted to Chief of Nursing for the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo, TX.

Dennis’s favorite past time was hunting and collecting antiques and went on to own his own store. You would hear him say it was a hobby, not a business as he was more of a collector than a seller.

Dennis is survived by his son, Kevin Brown; daughter-in-law, Tracey Lynn Brown; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, W.G. and Ruby Brown; brother, Travis Brown; sisters, Audrey and Jo; and friend and partner, Harley Kern.
