Dick Leroy Murry, 75, of Amarillo, TX passed away March 12, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Dick was born May 26, 1947 in Perryton, TX to John and Emma Lee Murry. Dick graduated from Perryton High School in 1965. He married Claudia Kay Land on August 26, 1967. Dick managed lumber yards in Gruver and Perryton and worked as a carpenter. Dick was a

God-fearing man and was a Baptist. He enjoyed making wooden crosses and gave them to people as part of his ministry. Dick and his wife Claudia owned Murry’s Ceramic Tile for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Lee Murry; sister, Pauline; and brothers, Robert, Don and Joe Mac.
Dick is survived by his loving wife, Claudia; sons, Gary Murry and wife, Rhonda of Perryton, TX, Richard Murry of Amarillo, TX, and daughter, Amy Cagle and husband Charley of Bushland, TX; sister, Joan Black and husband Wesley of Aztec, NM; 5 grandchildren, Alexia and husband Matthew, Raylee, Damon, Samantha, and Cale; and 2 great-grandchildren, Blakelee and Tucker.
