Donald James Morganti, 73, of Amarillo, TX passed away April 24, 2023.

Donald was a good person. He overcame a number of life challenges and, while doing so, maintained his positive perspective and unique, impish sense of humor. After living in Topeka and working for the BNSF railroad for over twenty years, Don moved to Amarillo.
He spent over ten years assisting and caring for his mother even to the detriment of his own health, particularly when she became completely dependent on him in her last few years. Not surprisingly, Don saw the good in others and was quick to give a helping hand, many times without being asked. Don Morganti was a good man with a generous heart and a gentle soul. He is missed.
