Donald Lee Rhea, 69, of Dumas, died Monday, August 8, 2022.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Temple Baptist Church with Chris Fobbs and Josh Flores officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Donald was born on August 27, 1952, in Perryton, Texas to J.C. and Daisy Rhea. He grew up in Spearman, Gruver, and Morse. He had worked for JBS for over 34 years before retirement. He enjoyed restoring old John Deere tractors and spending time with his grandchildren. In his free time, he would drive around and loved to visit with people.
He married Barbara Ring on April 30, 1972, in Spearman, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clint Rhea; a brother, Billy Jo Rhea; and a sister, Karen Sparks.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rhea of Dumas; two sons, Caylor Rhea and Grady Rhea, both of Dumas; two grandchildren, Logan Rhea and Kalena Rhea; brother-in-law, Johnny Ring and wife Carolyn of Spearman; two sisters-in-law, Onie Easter of Sunray and Rita Duncan of Spearman; four nieces, Jackie Martin, Barbara English, Pam Dahlberg, and Charlynn Turner; and five nephews, Slavin Sparks, Lance Sparks, Cord Rhea, Chad Rhea, and Ronnie Ring.
