Doris Alma Harvey, 97, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, August 29, 2022.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022, at Arden Road Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Doris was born December 9, 1924, to Marion and Laura McGolden in Belva, OK and was raised in Tulsa, OK. She had worked as a secretary for many years for several freight companies before becoming a nanny. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching sports. Doris was a member of Arden Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Harvey; three brothers; two sisters; and two sons, Roger Harvey and Mark Harvey.
Survivors include her son, Tim Harvey and wife Terry, of Amarillo, TX; granddaughter, Mandy Harvey, of Amarillo, TX; grandsons, Mack Harvey, of Edmond, OK, and T.J. Harvey and wife Amanda, of Amarillo, TX; and very special children, Abbie and Graham Johnson, Bailey Harbison, and Brendan and Kendall Weaber.
