Doris Busby Bryant, 84, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 25, 2024.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Doris was born in Colorado City, Texas on January 11, 1940, to Jack and Mary Reed. She moved to Amarillo at the age of 3 and was raised by her mother Mary and Noah Busby.
She graduated from Amarillo High School and soon after married her high school sweetheart Robert Bryant. She raised five children and at the age of 40, she decided to go back to school. She graduated from Amarillo College and worked at Northwest Texas Hospital as an LVN. After retirement, they traveled all over the United States working various jobs together and enjoying life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Peggy Christian, and son-in-law Terry Love.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Robert; her five children, son, Charles of Amarillo; daughter, Brandi Love of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Margaret Stilwell and husband Mark of Dalhart; son, Matthew Bryant of Amarillo; son, Michael Bryant and wife Tina of Amarillo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Steven Busby.
