Doris Lemons, 86, of Denver City, TX and formerly of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, November 27, 2022.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Doris was born January 14, 1936, in Clarendon, TX to Price and Martiel (Reynolds) Webb. She worked in department store sales and was a manager of a Naturalizers Shoe Store.
She was a member of the X&O’s Square Dance Club for many years. Doris was an avid seamstress and loved to read. She loved her family which includes lots of nephews and nieces. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. Elvis Presley music and a Coke with a book, her life was perfect.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Allen Lemons; a brother, Kenneth Webb; a sister, Sandra Butler; and her parents.
Survivors include sons, Allen Lemons and wife Sharon, of Seagraves, TX, and Dale Lemons and wife Deborah, of Tulia, TX; two brothers, Willard Webb, of Amarillo, TX, and Wesley Webb and wife Vela, of White Deer, TX; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at the funeral home.
