Dustin was born on February 4th, 1980. He attended West Texas A&M University and found his place in the world as a Therapeutic Supervisor in residential childcare for 17 years.

He began his early career in Crisis Intervention with at risk youth at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch for over 10 years and finished his time as a supervisor at the Amarillo Children’s Home. He found his true calling and passion working with youth and staff. Dustin’s skill set and life experiences helped him heal and restore many hurting children as well as staff. He impacted hundreds of lives in his short time here. The kids and staff brought him eternal joy and he knew this was his life’s purpose.

Dustin loved almost all sports, playing games, watching movies, listening to music, trips, and spending time with loved ones and friends. He was by far the #1 Dallas Cowboys Fan along with his brother Daniel and Uncle Mike. Win or lose.

Survivors include his mother, Karen Williams; and two sisters, Melissa Banks with husband Karlton, and Marsha Olsen with husband Jerry. He also had one nephew and four nieces. Dustin was blessed with a huge family full of many aunts and uncles, lots of cousins, second cousins, and many lifetime friends.

He was preceded in death by Daniel, his brother.

Dustin will be forever loved and missed by anyone who knew him, and he left a lasting legacy and impact.

The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or Amarillo Children’s home.
