Eloisa B. Gonzales, 88, of Amarillo, TX died March 8, 2020.

Viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 12, 2020 and 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 13, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2020, at HIS Church Dumas Campus, 10 Elm Ave., Dumas, TX 79029 with Frank Gordoa. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Eloisa was born in Pierce, TX on July 1, 1931 to Maria and Sostenes Bursiaga.

Eloisa loved to spend time and cook with her family.

Eloisa loved drinking coffee with the family, going to casinos, scratching her lottery tickets, looking out the window, going to church, and her favorite past time was going to Furr’s Cafeteria and spending time with all the family.

Preceded in death by sons, Christoval Gonzales, Jessie Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, Tony Gonzales, and husband, Antonio C. Gonzales.

Survivors include her daughters, Isabel and husband Arthur Amparan, Lupe and husband Tim Valencia, Mary and husband Roy Charles, Precila Botello, Beatrice and husband Francisco Mena, and Amy and husband Carlos Ortiz; sons, Noel and wife Janet Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales and wife Brenda, and Rick and wife Julie Gonzales; sisters, Louisa Bursiaga, and Dolores Bursiaga; and over 200 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

  1. Such a sweet beautiful soul. Though I knew her for a short time it felt like an eternity. Grandma you will forever be missed. Praying for comfort for the army right now as I know how much you were loved by them. Love you pretty lady ❤️

  8. I love and miss you so much already Grandma… My Grandma had Such a kind Soul, gave so much love to anyone with a heart. Her heart was made of Gold, Soul was made of Love and warmth. They don’t make em like her anymore. Rest in Love my love.

  9. Grandma we lost a huge part of our life but we gained a guardian angel to watch over all of us! I loved seeing your beautiful smiling face every time we came to visit! That table will never feel or be the same without! Thank you for teaching me to be a strong hard working woman! I love you so much you’re so missed already ♥️
