Eric Carl Thrasher, 43, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 18, 2020, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Eric was born on February 10, 1977.  He was a restaurant chef.  He loved to cook and enjoyed being around friends and family.  He was a hard worker who never gave up on making things right.  He was accepting of all things. Putting aside his flaws, he was a humble, hardworking man.

Eric loved his daughter and grandson more than anything. He always made sure his family had everything they needed.

Eric had always dreamed of buying a food truck to make and serve chicken. He always dressed nice. He would not go anywhere if he thought there was a problem with what he was wearing. Eric was always brushing his teeth. Every time you saw him, he was brushing his teeth. He was the cleanest person.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Sierra Thrasher; his aunt, Susan; and his one grandson, all of Amarillo.

  2. I grew up on Spruce st with Eric! He was my oldest brothers Best Friend! His grandparents and himself gave us alot of memories as kids on that street and neighborhood!! He was an awesome human with a huge heart! So sorry sweetie for your loss!!

  3. Eric Thrasher was my younger Brother. We were as close as we could be; considering long distance and other circumstances in life. Eric was a good man. I know how much that he loved Sierra Dawn and wanted the best of life for she and his newly born grandson, Juan. I love and miss you Eric, my Brother.

  4. Eric made the best Chicken Sandwiches I’ve ever eaten ! He will be dearly missed.my heart is so saddened over this. Sierra ,I pray for God to wrap his loving arms around you and you’re family with his love and comfort.

    1. Say Bro, the short time that I knew you I knew you had a great heart. You really wanted to be there for your daughter and grandchild. If you would have stayed here on earth there’s no telling how much you would’ve accomplished. Rest easy Thrash
