Ernest Clinton Morris, 70, of Amarillo, TX died April 2, 2020.

Ernie was born in Fort Worth, TX on June 1, 1949 to Kathleen and Royce Morris. He graduated from Vega High School. After graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. Ernie farmed around Bushland, TX and then drove a truck for the rest of his time.
Ernie was an active member of Ross-Osage Baptist Church. He loved the Dallas Cowboys through wins and losses.
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepdad, Dean Arnold; niece, Kristy Rodgers; and grandson, JJ Morris.
Survivors include his wife, Carissa Morris; son, James Morris, of Dalhart, TX; son, Jeremy Morris, of Dalhart, TX; daughter, Mandy Garza and husband Victor, of Dalhart; stepdaughter, Philisha Hanes, of Lubbock, TX; son, Levi Morris and wife Bracie, of Crosbyton, TX; brother, Wayne Morris, of Amarillo; sister, Becky King, of Amarillo; brothers, Norval Arnold and wife Sheryl, of Amarillo; brother, Bobby Arnold and wife Angie, of Vega, TX; and lots of grandchildren.
He will be missed by many, including his little dog Precious.
