Ernesto Salazar Garcia, 67, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, August 22, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd with Deacon Miguel Tovar officiating.
Ernesto was born July 5, 1955, in Juarez, Mexico to Manuel and Irene Salazar.
He devoted his life to his family and enjoyed greeting every customer with a smile. His kind heart and humble personality is greatly loved in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Garcia and Manuel Salazar, his brother Martin Salazar, and his sister, Silvia Salazar.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Teresa Salazar; daughter, Claudia Salazar; son, Carlos E. Salazar; son-in-law, Armando Herrera; daughter-in-law, Maira Salazar; grandchildren, Vanessa Herrera, Karen Herrera, Daniela Herrera, Jocelyn Salazar, Paola Salazar, and Erick Salazar; and siblings, Jose Luis Salazar, Juan Manuel Salazar, Marisela Salazar, and Alberto Salazar.
