
Freddie Lee Jackson, Sr., 85, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, October 10, 2022.
Services will be private. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Freddie was born November 15, 1936, in Mangum, OK to John and Cleo (Payne) Jackson. He served in the US Marine Corps. Freddie worked as a gas plant operator.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Jackson (2-5-1993), mother-in-law, Edna Barclay (06-05-1994), brother-in-law, Tom Barclay (09-28-2001), brother, Skipper Jeffers (08-19-2004), wife, Betty Jackson (01-19-2008), aunt, Ruby Joy Sherrell (04-17-2009), mother, Cleo Jeffers (07-21-2010), daughter, Shelley Patton (05-02-2011), son-in-law, Clifton Lowe (04-02-2012), uncles, A.D. Payne (05-26-2013) and Charles Payne (10-19-2015), aunt, Marjorie Payne (01-04-2019), son-in-law, Stephen Schon (12-13-2020), and sister, Katherine Revious (05-23-2022).
Survivors include his children, Freddie Jackson, Jr., and daughter, Sherree Schon; grandchildren, Shannon Land, Clarence Holman, Courtney Holman, Kirsten Jackson, and Katelyn Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Abigail, Raeleigh, and Sunni.
