Gary was born April 10, 1961 in Pampa, TX to Philip and Dottie Kimbley. He married Christy Michelle Mote on July 17, 2004 in Amarillo, TX. While growing up in Pampa, TX, Gary developed a true love for motorcycles, guns, and cars, which followed him throughout his life.  He loved to take apart things and just see how they worked. Gary was baptized in 2003 at Amarillo South Church and never lost his faith.  Such a fierce, strong, man would tear up every time during the praise music as he sang along with his amazing baritone voice.
When he married, he said he now had the family that he always wanted.  His girls, Ryann and Dru, meant the world to him and he was so very proud of them.  He loved traveling with Christy and just spending time with her.  Every month, he wanted to just get in the car with her and drive to Lubbock just to spend quality time together.
He loved to tell jokes and give people a hard time. His inappropriate humor was part of daily life and made him so fun to be around.  He was an avid animal lover and always wanted at least three dogs and a cat at home at all times.   He was a great friend and always ready to talk about his motorcycles, guns, and dogs with anyone who was willing to listen.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and son.  He will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Kimbley.
He is survived by wife Christy; daughters, Ryann Kimbley and Dru Kimbley both of Amarillo, TX; mother, Dottie Kimbley of San Antonio, TX; sister, Terri Hemphill and husband David of Pearland, TX; and nephews Chris Hemphill and wife Andrea and Stephen Hemphill and wife Amanda.

You were my best friend growing up. We had some crazy times together and we always had each other’s back. Sad that it has been so long since we’ve seen each other, I know we had plans to get together, but that will have to wait. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person, but know I’m thinking about you and your family. Love you brother. You are missed already.
I’m incredibly sorry for your loss Christy. I will be praying for you and the girls! With love and blessings,
