He was married to Maryann Cornett on May 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife and children, Brett and Adam Barrett of Colorado. A brother Randy Barrett of White Deer, Texas and sister, Caroline Snyder of Amarillo, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
He was an avid motorcyclist and truck driver most of his adult life, retiring in 2023 and lived in Amarillo, Texas.
