Vivian Edna Lee Miller “Ginger”, 86, of Amarillo, TX passed away February 6,

2023.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Ginger was born October 24, 1936 in Pratt, KS to Charles Louis and Vivian May Tyrrell. She graduated from Principia University in St. Louis. Ginger married Frank Miller on October 2, 1956 in Sterling, CO. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years before going into the trucking business hauling for numerous different companies including jet fuel for NASA. She also became a member of WIC (Women in Construction). Ginger was always very proud of her affiliation in WIC.

Ginger loved playing the piano and dancing. She was a proud member of the “Eastern Star” known for her beautiful singing voice. She always enjoyed a good episode of Wheel of Fortune and was a social butterfly. Ginger and her family met many years for a reunion at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri; enjoying fishing, boating, and camping with those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Frank Miller; father, Lou Tyrrell; mother, Vivian Tyrrell; sister-in-law, Ann Tyrrell; brother, Charles Tyrrell; sister, Rita Unruh; sister-in-law, Maxine Tyrrell; and son-in-law, Monty Trull.

Ginger is survived by her children, Jennifer Salas and husband Daniel, Cindy Trull, Frank Miller, and Vivian Miller; grandchildren, Danielle Taylor and husband Michael, Colleen Barjas and husband Donald, Gabriel Salas, Cameron Miller, and Justice Dillard; 6 great-grandchildren, Lily, Hunter, Jeriah, Levi, Allysha, and Shyann; brother, Jack Tyrrell; and brother-in-law, Ross Unruh.
