Glenna Marie Trujillo, 67, of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Rosary service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox.  Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Glenna was born on May 1, 1954, in Clayton, New Mexico to Jesus and Martha Trujillo.  She graduated from Clayton High School and later earned her bachelor’s degree in education.  She taught at Sunset Elementary for over eighteen years and had worked at the Days Inn for fourteen years.  She loved to clean, watch western movies, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

She married Lee Roy Trujillo on June 21, 1975, in Clayton, New Mexico.  He preceded her in death on April 15, 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby Trujillo and wife Isabel of Dumas and Richard Trujillo and wife Anisa of Amarillo; a brother, Albert Trujillo and wife Harriet of Amarillo; a sister, Linda Garcia of Boulder, Co.; nine grandchildren, Jazmin, Alize, Jaden, Autumn, Caleb, Bella, Jeramiah, Payton, and Jaxon; and one great-grandchild, Zelena.
