Grant was born to Kyle and Cindy Singleton and raised in Amarillo with his younger brother Devin Singleton.

Grant was an exceptional student and athlete who excelled in math and athletically in basketball, baseball, flag football, and golf. His favorite teams were LSU football, the New Orleans Saints, the Texas Rangers, any team LeBron was on, and the Dallas Mavericks (his mother’s favorite team). One of Grant’s favorite sayings when he would travel to see his cousins play basketball was… “I didn’t travel this far to see you miss a free throw.” He also loved watching cooking shows. He shared his love for others by cooking for them.

After graduating from Canyon Randall High School, he attended West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and ultimately a master’s degree in engineering technology. Shortly thereafter he moved to Midland, Texas where he became an independent landman doing work for Elite Land and Title. In June of 2020, he moved back to Amarillo with his two sons Beckham and Brooks. In addition to continuing his landman work, Grant then began working for his former freshman basketball coach at Steward Construction.

Grant’s greatest accomplishments in life were his boys and the community of lifelong best friends who remain by his side and in his heavenly heart today.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan “Big O” and Maxine “Sissie” Owen, and grandfather, Lewis Singleton Jr.

He is survived by his two sons, Beckham and Brooks Singleton; his parents, Kyle and Cindy Singleton; his brother, Devin Singleton; his grandmother, Lynn Singleton; the family Morkie (dog) Ralphie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him dearly.
