Hector “Anthony” Trevino Jr., 61, of Dumas, died on Friday, January 14, 2022.

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox.  Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel with Ronnie Krebbs officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Hector was born on August 31, 1960, in Burnet, Texas to Hector and Connie Trevino.  He had worked as a salesman in parts and as a security guard at JBS.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with horses.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Mari Ortiz; and a brother Edmeraldo “Merrill/Chato” Trevino

He is survived by a 2nd wife, Bonnie Burner, of Majority, NM, daughter, Christy Renee Pancio of Lubbock; a son, Anthony Nicholas Trevino of Dumas; his mother, Connie Zapata and husband Joaquin; three sisters, Esmeralda Orozco and husband Elias, Belinda De Los Angeles and husband Porfirio, and Cindi Garay and husband Alfonso, all of Dumas; five grandchildren, Caiden Anthony Trevino, Madden Joe Nicholas Gatica, Robert Joseph Gatica, Kayla Renee Gatica, and Anna Marie Gatica; and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the funeral home. The family is gladly accepting any donations to help pay for funeral expenses.
