Helen Louise Green, 105, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, June 30, 2023.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Joan Gaines officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Helen was born on June 22, 1918, in Floydada, TX to George and Maggie Green. She graduated from Clarendon High School and Clarendon College. She worked for the Dept. of Agriculture until retirement in 1973. She was a longtime tenant of the Palo Duro Village in Canyon, and most recently Harrington and the Moore. She loved to paint and was lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a nephew, George Bentley, and wife Charlene of Amarillo; a niece Mary Helen Bentley Golladay,
and husband Lannie of Amarillo; and other extended family.
