Helen Louise Proffitt Adams, 91, of Amarillo, TX peacefully gave up the ghost and her spirit is now with the Lord, Jesus Christ, whom she loved with all of her heart on October 28, 2022.
Private family services will be held.
Helen was born on October 10, 1931, in Memphis, TX, to Witt and Bertha Proffitt, then later moved to Amarillo, TX as a child. Her greatest joy was being a daughter to her amazing parents, who preceded her in death, a mother to her two children, a grandmother to her three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She never forgot any birthdays, and believed she was on this earth to constantly pray for others.
Special thanks to the loving staff and caregivers at Hillside Heights Nursing Home, and Hospice. Helen loved you all.
