It was my privilege and blessing to be your mother’s neighbor for many years on Peachtree! Also, I knew your family from Windsor. My brother worked with Hugh at Amarillo High many times and would tell of his magic tricks, and caring attitude toward kids and faculty! I enjoyed hearing him sing at church.
I feel so for your family, that Hugh has stepped into one of the rooms in God’s many mansions ! However, I am sure he is singing and rejoicing with all that have gone before!

  11. Renee,
Cynthia called me tonight when we got home from our choir practice. She said she had been thinking about all of you lately & then stumbled on the news about Hugh tonight as she was scrolling Facebook. I told her that Hugh had been taking care of you after your stroke, so his passing was certainly unexpected. I am so very sorry! You & your girls will be in my thoughts & prayers every day. I’m sure this has hit all of you very hard! You were a stellar couple to many of us & we will never forget your kindness! I am sorry we can’t be there tomorrow, but I will gladly send a memorial for him. May
God’s love keep you & yours enfolded in His arms!
    Love you,
    Judy Hale
