Jackie Pyeatt, 92, of Amarillo, TX passed away on November 3, 2022.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 5, 2022, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dick Marcear officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 5, 2022, in the Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
 
Jackie was born in Laketon, Gray County, TX on April 12, 1930. She grew up in Pampa, TX, and graduated from Pampa High School. She then moved to Amarillo, TX where she worked at Texaco Refinery. There, she met A.F. Pyeatt, and the two married on May 19, 1956.
 
Jackie loved the Lord. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ and had been a Children’s Director. Jackie was a founding member of the Church of Christ at the Colonies.
 
Jackie loved genealogy and music.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva and Jack Back; husband, A.F. Pyeatt; sister, Doris Rice; stepbrothers, David Dean Wilson, and Carlos M Wilson
 
She is survived by her halfsister, LuJuanda Wilson of Fort Worth, TX; son, Mark Pyeatt, of Plano, TX; and daughter, Christy Pyeatt, of Amarillo, TX; and many nieces and nephews she so loved dearly.

  2. Jackie was one of my favorite cousins, and while we didn’t get to visit all that much I will forever be grateful for her sharing of the “Family History”

    I am at a loss for adequate words to express my sadness for you. I had the blessed opportunity of knowing your mom and I know heaven just received one of the most special angels. You are a reflection of your mom in the way your treat people with respect and empathy. Not to mention the way you make each person feel loved. I am so sorry for your loss.

  5. Jackie was my wonderful cousin. She was so much fun to be with. Every phone conversation through the years was so interesting. She exhibited her love for our Lord always. I will miss her.
