James “Jim” Milton Price, Sr.

James “Jim” Milton Price, Sr., 90, of Amarillo, died Friday, December 1, 2022.

Private services will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jim was born on June 12, 1932, in Winnsboro, Texas to Martha and James Price.   He received his master’s degree in AG Economics from Texas A&M University.  He had been a rancher and worked for the agriculture extension service.

Jim was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teenye Holmes Price on August 23, 2021.

Jim is survived by his children, Jamie Mansfield (Bobby) and Jimmy Price (Dulcie); grandson, Rob Mansfield (Farrar); and great-granddaughters, Fiona Mansfield and Corinne Mansfield.

    Kathy and I want to express our sorrow on the passing of your father. While we did not know him, we know you and we are certain that many of your good qualities came from him. It is always hard to lose a parent and we will keep you and your family in our prayers.
