James “Jim” Miriam Bradshaw, 95, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, August 14, 2020.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jim was born January 21, 1925, in Frisco, TX to Harvey and Judy Bradshaw.  Following high school graduation Jim served his country in the US Army.   Jim worked at Pantex in research and development.  He attended Grace Chapel.

His first wife, Ladell preceded him in death.  He married Frances Sanders on September 29, 2012, in Amarillo, TX.

Jim also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay Warwick.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Bradshaw, of the home; children, James M. Bradshaw, Jr. and wife Vicki, Jimi Lanette Ricketts and husband David, Glenn Bradford and wife Tricia, and Kevin Bradford and wife Connie, all of Amarillo, TX, and Lisa Neece and husband Bobby, of Elk City, OK; two sisters, Benny Ruth Hensley and Katie Manasco, both of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Mike Warwick and wife Stephanie, Stephanie Avant and husband Carl, Josh Bradshaw, and Jennifer Bradshaw; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

  1. I used to visit with Mr Bradshaw at Ussary Roan on Sundays when I was able to take my therapy dog to visit. He was such an interesting man! We found out through our conversations that we had employment at Pantex in common, and in law enforcement. I haven’t been able to visit there since Covid, but he was one of my favorites! I am praying for your loss, but what a long life he lived! God bless.

    Jim would just call to tell me a funny joke or story… I will miss you miss you!

  8. I am so so sorry to hear this sad news. I truly loved my time with Bradshaw at Ussery Roan. He was the light of my day. Couldn’t trust him to keep score in dominos though!! God Bless his family.
