Janice Ann Roberts, 68, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on October 19, 2023.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Chuck and Debbie Phillips officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, Texas.

Janice was born in Midland, TX, on October 14, 1955, to Billy and Betty Crow. They later moved to Hurst, TX, where Janice grew up and graduated high school from L.D. Bell. Janice started her family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and later moved to Amarillo. She began her nursing career in 1994, graduating from Amarillo College with her RN degree. Janice was an exceptional and compassionate nurse for 29 years before recently retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her 3 dogs, Ace, Rosie, and Bella. She would do anything for her kids and loved them with everything she had. Her grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy, and she adored each and every one of them. Janice always put others before her own self, always caring for others was her nature and she had an amazing heart. Janice was also known for her great sense of humor and her quirkiness. She could always make you laugh and there was never a dull moment when you were around her. She will be deeply missed, and heaven sure gained an amazing woman!

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Crow; mother, Betty Crow; sister, Debbie Crow; and husband, Severn Roberts.

She is survived by her three children, Brian Jones, Michael and wife Rosanna Jones, Jamie and husband Dustin Phillips; four grandchildren, Gilbert and wife Valeria Martinez, Sasha Jones, Colton Phillips, and Casen Phillips; and one great-grandchild, Damien Martinez.

  1. I so sorry to hear of Janice’s passing. I went to Jr. High and High School with her. May you wonderful memories comfort you.

  2. Im so saddened by the loss of Janice. We have been friends since middle school. Although she moved to Amarillo we still kept in touch occasionally when she would come to DFW area. I will miss her greatly. God Bless Janice
