She was born on September 6, 1949, in Alva, OK, to Lula and Peewee Wallace. Janice was known for her feisty personality, quick wit, and hilarious sense of humor. She had great, unending love and generosity for her friends and family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Dexter. Janice loved spending time with friends and family, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, and making others laugh.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance at OCRA.org.

I met Jan while doing chemo, recently. Enjoyed visiting with her for a short amount of time. May the Lord wrap His arms of love and comfort around her family. J. Gipson
I played in a Bunko group with Jan for many years. She was the life of the party, she was always so fun and funny. We all had a great time with her. She will be missed by many!
Jan is one of my best friends and was my roommate for years. We have the same weird sense of humor. We would laugh at silly movies, and at Americas Funniest Home Videos. We loved our dogs. We are both too sarcastic for our own good. We would agree to disagree on how to decorate the house. She loved Halloween and loved Christmas. Adored her grandkids and her kids (grandkids more) . I will miss her terribly, but I will continue to talk to her and make fun of her bad taste in pillows for the couch. I figure when when I go she will be there to play some crazy prank on me. I already miss her.
