In her later years, Jean, also known as Grammie, could be found at Kings Manor Nursing Home playing the piano for sing-a-longs and family every chance she had. During the sing-a-longs, her friend handed her a harmonica and she said I haven’t played one in seventy years. She was then gifted with a C & G harmonica and accompanied harmony on many songs.

  1. Debbie and family,
It has been years since our Tupperware days. I am in Stillwater and Charlene is in Norman so we are close but don’t get to visit except by cellular. We used to but I don’t drive out-of-town any longer to keep my family happy since we are all here and Charlene has retired from Boys’ Ranch job so she doesn’t come this way although she does still drive back to her hometown Pryor to visit her sister and cousin. We discuss those days and fondly-wonder about a lot-of-you gals. I didn’t know your mother-in-law but can share in your loss and pray for all this week ahead. Grieve-as-you must, not-as-others will tell you is right, wrong or indifferent. Cling tightly to our Lord’s unchanging and unfailing hands. May He bless each-of-you with peace, comfort and guidance for the future.

  2. Saddened to here of your Mother’s Passing. May God grant you all His Peace
and Comfort, now and the days ahead.

    Love and Prayers,
    Ron and Jan
    Vickie
    Judy
