Jesse David Carrillo was born on March 9, 1980 in Dalhart, Tx to parents, Juan Carrillo and Cruz Morales.
Jesse attended Hereford High School. Jesse would light up any room he entered; his presence was instantly known. He was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved to be the instigator when they played against the Dallas Cowboys. He was also the biggest jokester that could make any person laugh until their stomach hurt and was a jack of all trades, there wasn’t any job Jesse couldn’t do. He loved all his family and children immensely, but his parents were his world. In March of this year, he graduated from Life Challenge where he completed a 13-month program where he was taught the word of God that led him back to Christ. We will greatly miss Jesse, but we rejoice in knowing that because of his recent decision to dedicate his life back to the Lord, he is now in the Kingdom of Heaven. This isn’t a goodbye, but till we see you again.
Jesse is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Gumersindo Garcia Carrillo and Manuela Arzate Carrillo; maternal grandparents, Gerardo Mesa Morales and Praxedis Gallardo Morales; uncle, Gumersindo “Chindo” Carrillo of Hereford, TX; cousin, Danny Carrillo of Hereford, TX; uncle, Felipe Morales of McCamey, TX; and many beloved aunts and an uncle from Mexico.
He is survived by his parents, Juan and Cruz Carrillo of Hereford, TX; his children, Caleb Carrillo of Hereford, TX, Zaden Carrillo of Levelland, TX, and Jayce, Addison and Alexis Carrillo of Amarillo, TX; his sisters, Lupe and spouse Eddie Gonzales of Lubbock, TX, Vicky Lucio, Irma and spouse Brantley Pace, and Yvonne and spouse Josh McKee all of Amarillo, TX; his brothers, Raymond Carrillo of Hereford, TX, Herbert and spouse Oralia Carrillo of South Texas, John Carrillo, Corine and girlfriend Edina Carrillo both of Fort Worth, TX; his granddaughters, Mylah, Emma, Lunabel Carrillo all of Hereford, TX; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his little buddy, Gabriel.
