JoAnn Galvan

JoAnn Galvan, 61, of Dumas, died Friday, January 3, 2020.

A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia officiating.  Burial will be at the Dumas Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

JoAnn was born on September 2, 1958 in Texico, New Mexico to Clyde and Flora Trujillo.  She had worked at Moore County Hospital as a floor tech for over 17 years.

She is survived by four sons, Benny Ortiz and wife Hope, John Ortiz, Justin Ortiz, and Joe Ortiz; two daughters, Brandy Ortiz and Stephanie Deleon and husband Genario, all of Dumas; three sisters, Carolyn Powers of Elida, N.M., Cleo Alaniz of Portales, N.M., and Frances Herrera of Colorado; three brothers, Benny Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, and Emilio Trujillo, all of Clovis; twenty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
