Joe David Lester, 67, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 30, 2023.
Private family services will be held.
David was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 8, 1955, to Joy and Joe Boyce Lester. He worked as a railroader for BNSF Railroad for over 40 years.
David was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and he enjoyed motorcycles and sports cars. He had a Camaro in his garage that he loved. David enjoyed fishing and taking his boat to the lake.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Boyce Lester; and his daughter, Michele Renee Lester.
He is survived by his son, Jason Lester and wife Stephanie, of Aurora, CO; grandson, Zane Walker, of Amarillo, Texas; mother, Joy Lester, of Amarillo, Texas; girlfriend, Rhonda Shelton, of Amarillo, Texas; and sisters, Carolyn Wright, and Cindy Williams, both of Amarillo, Texas.
