
Joe Brandon Priz, 52, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Joe was born August 26, 1971, in Amarillo, TX by Sub Priz and Judy Priz.
In 1994, Joe and Misty Cherry were married. They had been sweethearts since she was 17, and he was 18.
Joe was quite a character, he was onery, and always liked to have fun. He loved hard and he played hard. Joe enjoyed riding motorcycles, conspiracy theories, and music! He loved music so much that his family says he talked through music! Joe would often recommend songs multiple times for you to listen to.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cecil Priz; nephew, Jerad Priz; and many aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Misty Priz; children, Mallory Priz, and Justine Priz; his grandchildren, Ryker Dominguez and Raiden Dominguez; brother, Jay Priz and wife Marian; parents-in-law, Bill and Dona Cherry; sister-in-law, Marcy Weldon and husband Taos; half-sisters, Andee Hampton and husband Heath, and Ann Perez; niece and nephew, William and Harper Weldon; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Misty I just saw this and am so very sorry. My heart goes out to you and the kids. I always considered Joe a friend and he will be missed but never forgotten 💖 please know I’m here if you need anything
